The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made an important announcement regarding the subject choices for Class 10 students transitioning to Class 11. In response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE has provided flexibility for students who have studied Mathematics Basic (241) in Class 10. The relaxation in this rule will continue for the academic session 2024 -25 only, CBSE said. According to the latest notice issued by CBSE, students who have studied Mathematics Standard (041) in Class 10 can continue with Mathematics (041) in Class 11. However, students who opted for Mathematics Basic (241) in Class 10 will have the option to pursue Applied Mathematics in Class 11.
