“Homeless is a misnomer,” Musk stated, arguing that the term oversimplifies a complex issue. “What you actually have are violent, drug zombies with dead eyes and needles and human feces on the street.” He lamented the city's transformation from a once-beautiful destination to a place where drug paraphernalia and other hazards are prevalent.
Musk recounted an alarming anecdote about a couple who decided to leave the city after encountering a dead body outside their home. According to him, police response to the situation was inadequate, with officers claiming they would remove the body the next day.
Additionally, Musk expressed concerns about immigration policies, suggesting that migrants are being sent to key U.S. states to influence upcoming elections in favor of the Democratic Party. He warned that continued Democratic leadership could result in significant changes to immigration laws, potentially leading to a future without swing states in elections.
As Musk's remarks continue to stir debate, they reflect broader concerns about homelessness and public safety in urban areas, raising questions about potential solutions to these pressing issues.
